Our Angus Suicide Prevention Support Service offers practical and emotional support if you’re experiencing thoughts of suicide, if you have attempted suicide, or if you’re reaching a point of emotional distress. The service is also available to family members, carers or friends.
The service supports people aged 16 and over living in Angus.
Why contact us?
Distress can be caused by lots of things like for example, relationship problems or financial worries. Your experience is unique to your circumstances. We can offer you compassionate and non-judgemental support if you feel you’re reaching a point of emotional distress, or if you’re living with thoughts of suicide.
How does it work?
Support happens on a one to one basis over the phone or in person.
We will support you to safely plan your next steps, and can help you develop skills and strategies to manage your wellbeing. Many of team members have lived experience of recovery in mental health and bring their own insight to support you on your journey. This means we come with some understanding of how you might be feeling.
How do I get support?
Our service is self-referral and for anyone aged 16 and over living in Angus. You can call us or email us direct.
